Regular Drivers

We only have space to run 42 drivers at a meeting (6 heats of 7 drivers).  During the winter (our busy season) we have occasionally had to turn people away due to lack of spaces.  We feel it is only fair that we support our regular drivers who support us            week in/week out.  To allow us to do this we have compiled a Regular Drivers list.  Regular drivers are guaranteed a race space at any meeting.

The Regular Drivers list has been compiled taking the following factors into account.

i) How long an individual has been connected to the club.

ii) How regularly they have attended the club.

iii) If a driver has not attended regularly but a family member has, then they will be treated as an item. This is in line with the origins of the club as a parent / child bonding type thing.

iv) Members of the club committee will always remain on the Regular Drivers list (for obvious reasons), even if they choose to take a break from driving for a bit.

There is no membership as such. All we ask is that you attend the club regularly. If a Regular Driver misses more than 3 meetings then we will consider removing them from the list.  If the absence is temporary and you don't want to be removed, then contact the committee.
