News We now race MINIS at SRCC At tonights' committee meeting (16th June), the committee has agreed to run Minis at SRCC with immediate effect (you can race one on Friday if you want to) . A full set of rules will be devised shortly and posted on the website, but for the moment the rules are ......... Minis must have either a Tamiya M Series or Mardave chassis, with suitable bodyshell. Silver can or black can (or equivalent) non rebuildable motor. Any battery pack up to 7.4 volts. Correct wheels and tyres for the chassis you are running.
New BRCA minimum weight limit The BRCA have reduced the minimum weight limit for 1/10th saloons from 1500 grams to 1350 grams. SRCC will introduce this reduced limit with immediate effect. 1/10th saloons will be racing with a minimum weight limit of 1350 grams at the next (November 6th) meeting. The minimum weight limit for 1/12th scale remains unchanged. Please note, the new 1350 gram limit is a minimum. You do not have to remove any weight if you do not want to. |
